I am really enjoying finding old run down chairs, and doing them up.

Elegant Shabby Chic Mirror

How beautiful is this mirror ? Due to excitement i don't have a before picture =( i have to stop doing that !! But the mirror looked old and yukky, until i gave it a fresh coat of paint, and a good distressing. I am in loveeeee with this mirror NOW ! If only me and the fiance had our own place already this piece would be a keeper.

Color Love

I picked up 3 old run down vintage chairs today. 2 of them need some work, but the 1 was is pretty good condition. I knew exactly what color i wanted to paint this piece in. I have been wanting to use this color for a while, but kept putting it off. At first i was a little scared because it went on so bright, but once i gave it a good distressing, it was perfect. I also reupholstered the seat in a neutral color.

Shabby Chic / Country style table and chairs

So finally the rain decided to clear out for a few days, however we were hit with some 35+ degree days, and its not even summer here yet !!

But the good news is i have completed my table and chairs. I am so happy with the finished product. Here are some before and after shots...

Up next

Up next on my list to-do's is this little timber dining & chairs piece. I have decided instead of giving it the all white paint job i am going to try out the two tone furniture look. Here is a little inspriation for this piece..

I love how leaving the table top unpainted gives a sort of country feel.

So, here is my before picture below, i have decided i am going to paint the chairs all white, and just sand back and re stain the table top.

If this rain would stop i would be able to finish this piece... RAIN RAIN GO AWAY ! Hopefully you will be seeing a finished piece in the next few days...

Cute Side Table

How adorable is this little cute side table?

I am always forgetting to take a before picture, i just get so excited then half way through the piece i remember i didnt take a photo. Damn. But i remembered i got this piece from ebay, so i grabbed the pic off there... yay for before pics. Anyway this little table was is horrible condition, it had deep scratches, and tough marks all over. Nothing a little sanding couldn't fix, and ta-da.

I love it, i think it so so cute !

I have recently been on the hunt to find unique, and rare furniture pieces i can restore. Today i was in luck. I found so many pieces to add to my to-do list. All pieces are to die for, i adore them. At the moment all the pieces are in much need of some tender loving care, and that's what i love the most.

I cannot wait to get my hands on these beauties, and it wont be long before they are up for grabs.
