French script side table

Here I have a little side/lamp table. I picked this up for FREE on the side of the street; I have had a lot of luck lately with finding little treasures. After completing my typography coffee table, I became addicted to transferring. I decided this piece would be perfect for a little French script.

I painted the top in my home made chalk paint (instructions coming soon). I then once again downloaded the script from The graphics Fairy, and transferred it (you can read how I transfer here). I then distressed like crazy...

This was one of the quickest pieces I have ever completed, love how fast chalk paint drys !!

Here are some of the finished pictures (once again no before picture, new years resolution take before pictures !!!! )

  1. Jess it turned out great and I love how you left the legs stained and just painted the top. Thanks for sharing and for following my blog.

  2. It looks so awesome! Found you at Meg and Mum's.

  3. Hi Jess, this table is so cute and you are so lucky to have found it at the side of the road. That never happens here where I live. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

  4. I love your little table and to find something in such good shape is unheard of around here. You did a great job. I've given you the "Versatile Blogger" award. Please stop by and see what it is all about.
